Reading time divides word units by the selected pace, whose effective value is clamped to 80-600 word units per minute, then rounds the displayed estimate up to whole minutes.
Limitations
Detected URLs each add one word unit; word boundaries still vary by language and editor. Social and SEO thresholds are drafting references, not guarantees of current platform acceptance or pixel-width display.
